Presentation
The color blue is the common thread of his new exhibition. Whether in his large scraped canvases, which reveal about fifty shades, or in his pure textured monochrome, the artist offers a powerful and silent immersion in the heart of the intimate. Blue has always been the color of truth. First, because it traditionally symbolizes the purity of what is transparent (water, air, glass); but also because it evokes the immaterial, the depth, the mystery. Aharon Gluska's paintings resonate like an invitation to refocus on our own truth. Silently. In great humility. As a counterpoint, we will also show two canvases from the Imagined Landscapes series, for which Aharon Gluska set up a long process allowing him to create imaginary landscapes from water, pigments, ink and watercolor.
