Patricia Peteers is a Belgian sculptor born in 1964.
Patricia Peteers studied in several institutions such as the Academy of Modern Arts of Turnhout, the Academy of Fine Arts of Kortrijk and the Academy of Fine Arts of Bruges. During her long years of study she specialized in visual arts, fashion design and in painting.
Finally, Patricia Peteers decided to turn towards sculpture.The artist used to be a ballet student, this is why dance and dance movements are the main subjects of the artist's creations. All of her sculptures, which are mostly female figures, seem to be graciously making dance steps.
