Gaspard Talmasse is a Belgian artist born in 1986. After doing his secondary studies in visual arts where his interest in art grew and extended to painting, he got a Barchelors degree in fine arts option comics, from the Saint Luke Institute.
Passionate about comics since his childhood, he started drawing very early and enjoyed telling stories. After he graduated, he dedicated mainly to illustration as a freelancer and did comic strips narrations on scenario, directing, cutting and composition. He draws his inspiration from art, cinema, painting, photography and music.
In 2010, he worked as a draftsman and colorist on the animated film of Patrice Leconte "The Suicide Shop" and worked as well on the animated series "Petz" in 2012. In 2012 and 2013 he worked as a trainer on the production of the animated film for the cinema of the famous comics designer Jacques Tardi and participated regularly in the event "The Great Entr'acte" where he painted live.
