Born in 1968 - Belgium
Ania Lemin is a Belgian artist born in 1968. She studied illustration at the Academy of Fine Arts of Brussels.
Making sort of an irruption on her paintings and drawings with stylized forms and minimalist features, always imbued with a narrative form, the words that Ania Lemin incorporates in her work are chosen instinctively from books or magazines for their symbolic and graphical value. They enrich her compositions with their sense and give way to new forms of interpretation, unexpected creations filled with poetry.
Ania is as well the author-illustrator of a collection of illustrated books.
