Born in 1982 - Bulgaria
Biliana Angelova was born in 1982 in Sofia, Bulgaria. She lives and works in Paris.
Trained in art trades to the Boulle school, she turns in parallel to the graphic arts in which she found the means to express his felt face to the world that surrounds it, its ideals, its anxieties ; as a catharsis.
His work is figurative gladly because it interprets expressions and symbols of our collective unconscious in the bully, revamping their symbolic commonly admitted. As well the skull and skeleton, very present in its ?works, are not bearers of a message morbid, but evoke the absolute equality of the human face to the issues of the money, for the consumption, violence and finally and especially of the love.
"We are all equal under our various skins " B. Angelova.
In his work, Biliana unveiled what is never wishes to see, the "Content", our very internal, our internal architecture similar to all, regardless of our origins, our color, our gender and our social status.
This is not so much the exhibition of the respondent which is painful, but the terrible finding that the difference to which we attach so much importance is only superficial. The love, the battle, the death, the possession and its declinations (power consumption, ... ) are common to each, humans as animals.
Our states of souls bare by Biliana, are of a uniformity also desperate that comforting, because although the artist shows us a way of polling, it does takes us not by the hand, it prohibits any moral and leaves us to our journey.
