A protean character, Cerj Lalonde creates paintings, sculptures, photographs and multimedia installations, mastering the universe of digital arts.
He first obtained a Bachelor of Art History from the University of New York before continuing his studies at the International Center of Photography.
His works are between an artistic and technological experimentation. He tries to incorporate a dialogue, an innovative way of communication between the public, the artist and the exhibition system. He adopts a language that is between lyrical and geometric abstraction, inspired by the great personages from the History of Art, beginning with Malevitch.
In his work he incorporates a critique that attacks the meritocratic system in contemporary art and denounces it as it tries to transcend it.
