Born in 1957 - Canada
Painter, writer, musician and poet Pierre Cornudet was born in Montreal, Quebec in 1957. He lives and works in Bézier.
In 1980 he began to be known under the pseudonym "Anonyme Sanregret" through his writing and poetry. At the same time he was making music music with an "eclectic" band. He had concerts, wrote and published poems, and then went on tour across Canada, from Montreal to Vancouver, in 1985.
In 1986 he had his first show and stopped making music. During a stay in Paris, he got to know Yves le Marvec, an artist from Brittany.
From 1987 to 1991 he had more than 60 exhibitions that took him to Montreal or to Paris, via Yverdon-les-Bains (Switzerland), and then Toulouse.
In 1991 "Anonyme Sanregret" has a show Quebec University gallery, and presents a series of acrylics on canvas reinterpreting through his layers of "little dots" compositions of Hieronymus Bosch, Van Gogh, Gauguin, Toulouse Lautrec, Picasso or Dali.
Later, he made another series of paintings of the monuments of Paris, and then of the funerary monuments of ancient Egypt.
His painting is insatiable and takes over everything it touches: blank canvases, canvases that have already been painted, tags, cards, books, boxes ... He transforms everything into a labyrinthlike universe of color explosions. His paintings convey an exceptional vital energy, but also humor and poetry and, even if they cannot change the direction of the world, at least they give joy to the heart...
