Erin Brekke Conn

Erin Brekke Conn is a Canadian painter.

In her work, nature and animals are immersed in a supernatural world. She uses a spectrum of boundless colors, and gives each of them life. The landscapes are given a mysterious look, through a game of transformations.

To accentuate this impression, different types of forms are depicted in the environment. Therefore, the nature is shown through different angles, giving it a graphic look. Erin Brekke Conn works with textures and varies the depths of field, transforming fauna and flora.

The mountains are undulated with multicolored foliage and grizzly has a fur like a stuff toy. The artist gives a new look to nature. Her technique to color and assemble are extremely meticulous. Many pigments of colors are used to fill in the image.

Conn's work has been presented in galleries during exhibitions in Canada, Miami and New York.
