Born in 1989, Ma'liCiouZ is a visual artist of Haitian origins. She obtained a scholarship by the Michaelle Jean Foundation which contributed to the global influence that she currently experiences.

The artist uses references coming from her origins. In her work, she addresses tribal art coming from her culture . "The combination or the amalgam of colors and cultures combine, mix, contrasts and juxtaposes" confeses the artist. She gets inspired in the subway or in front of the statue of Mont Royal in Montreal, in silence or in the middle of the crowd.

In 2001, the artist participated in numerous group exhibitions, inspired by live painting. The artist made her first solo exhibition in 2014 and participated in competitions such as Art Battle in Toronto. The Museum of Fine Arts of Montreal presented one of her pieces during the exhibition "the 4th Wall". Other important places have exhibited her work as well: the OCAD University Gallery of Toronto, The Cultural Space George-Emilie-Lapalme...... the media is constantly talking about her work, such as the illustrous "Revue Anthropologie et Sociétés" (on its cover), Challenges and News Magazines.
