Presentation

Jérémie Price was born and raised in Ontario, Canada.

He studied at the School of Art Bealart before continuing his studies at the Vancouver Film School.

In 2008, Jérémie Price moved to Montreal, the favorite subject for his paintings. Jeremy Price follows the line of several famous Canadian artists that have influenced him such as Jean Paul Lemieux with his austere compositions, Alex Colville and Jean Paul Riopelle.

The artist paints the city from all angles. The neighborhoods and the streets of Montréal are transcribed according to the artist's traits. He captures ephemeral moments, a way for Jérémie Price to freeze time and to incite the people of Montréal just like from other cities, to take a break from their hectic lives.

Montreal's landscapes are in constant evolution, with its very marked seasons, its face is constantly changing. Whether it is the fall colors or the purity of the immaculate white snow that invades the whole city, Montreal is a permanent source of inspiration for the artist. Jérémie Price exhibits his work mainly in Canada.
