Born in 2016 - Canada
Being particulaly curious about drawing and colors since a young age, Madeleine Caron took drawing courses at the Museum of Québec. She studied visual arts in middle school and then obtained a barchelor's degree in visual arts at the Laval University which led her to the field of graphic arts later on. Her studies oriented her to several professions: designer, Illustrator and photography teacher.
By the end of the 90s, she turned towards painting and drawed her inspiration from nature. In her paintings, she transcribes her fanciful nature and dress nature with her subjectivity. Her tendency to use shimmering colors and abundant textures create a bouquet of colors. Figuration combines with abstract art in her work: the trace of the gestures grasps the ephemeral movement (of the wind, of the present moment....). The titles of her pieces are related to the subjects: "Urban Poetry"", "Listen to the Rivers' Song", "Autumn Morning at Mont Royal Plateau", "Rock me Again".... Her poetry is an ode about the seasons and rythms..... the pictorial whirlwind reflects the whirlwind of human existance.
"Painting, is also to rediscover the world that surrounds us and see it through the eyes of a child.... this artist who sleeps inside each one of us" assures the artist.
She has done several exhibitions in art galleries and her works are part of numerous private and public collections in Canada and abroad.
