Alejandro Maureira is a Chilian artist, born in Linares in 1978. He did a course in Graphic Design and advertising at a well-known University in Chili in 2001. He specialized in photography and in 2008, he did an International Masters in "Conception and Creation in Photography" in Madrid.
In order to move forward with his projects, Alejandro Maureira got interested in different techniques and artistic practices. He experimented with shapes, contexts and different view points.
His creations deal with different problems affecting our society today, whether it's about the relationship between people, development of cities or a political context.
