Born in 1988 - China
Laureline Lê was born in 1988 and she lives and works in Paris. She studied at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts where she graduated, after having learned engraving at the Ecole Estienne.
The diversity of mediums that she uses emphasizes her artwork: drawing, sculpture and etching. As accuracy is her priority, most of her works are monochrome. The inspiration of her artwork comes from a collection of tiny elements that she analyses. On the first hand, Laureline Lê's drawings can be tiny, unique pieces but she also produces large formats. This variation in scale comes from her interest in minor things.
