Jie Zhong-Hipken is a Chinese artist born in 1976 in Beijing.
She graduated from the Central Academy of Fine Arts of China, where she received a particularly strict training in technical learning, and she won a prize for excellency. Fascinated by the French culture, she moved to France in 2002, and continued her studies at the International Institute of Fashion Design Mod'Art, and then worked in Paris until 2010 as a fashion designer.
She draws her inspiration from several influences (Cubism, fauvism, Art deco, naive figuration) combining creative fantasy and pictorial techniques while depicting scenes of daily life, as well as portraits and landscapes in birght colors, full of vivacity and malice.
She has won several international awards of fashion design in China, Hong Kong, Singapore and Paris.
