From a very young age growing up in Havana (Cuba), Abelardo developed a strong sense of creativity. Surrounded by the warmth and colour of the Caribbean, he graduated from art school with a desire to explore, experimenting with painting, sculpture and ceramics in order to create his own expressive style.
