Dominique Jousseaume was born in Paris in 1950.
After high shcool, he hesitated between architecture and Fine Arts, and finally chose an original path, corresponding to his taste for freedom and independence. He continued his training in various studios where he learned drawing, modeling, engraving etc.
His first shows have allowed him to meet interesting people, so he started making theater, cinema and ballet sets. He also did public commissions.
These multiple activities, all of them linked with each other, have shaped his career in a spirit of adventure, which corresponds to his vision of art: always searching to find what is behind the curtains.
