Max Boufathal is a French artist born in 1983. Once he graduated from the Fine Arts school in Nantes in 2007, he did a residency directed by the artist Fabrice Hyber for the « Les Réalisateurs » project.
Max Boufathal has exhibited at CAPC contemporary art museum in Bordeaux. In 2010, he participated in OFF, a biennial in Dakar but also the dance Bamako biennial. In 2012, Max did a residency with Cultures-interface in Casablanca and then participated at the Marrakesh biennial and the Great exhibition on contemporary Morocco in 2014. He then exhibited at the Ifa Gallery in Berlin, Stuttgart and Ghaya Gallery in Tunis.
