Laurence Kiberlain

Laurence Kiberlain is a French artist who is passionate about drawing and photography. After doing a DEUG in psychology, she started a career as an artistic agent. For more than 15 years, she managed the career of authors, actors, and directors. During this period, she discovered drawing which allowed her to exteriorize her emotions, and to depict her anxieties.

Laurence Kiberlain draws "small circles". She does not traces long rectilinear features or fluid curves, more or less large circles, which define the bodies, objects, shapes and the depicted faces. She has the habit of finishing a drawing and taking a picture and sending it to five people in charge of commenting on it. Without this ritual, she considers that her creations are not complete.
Laurence Kiberlain is also an adept of photography. "Photaudidacte" as he likes describing herself, she takes pictures from everyday life with humor and intelligence.
In 2006, she started a collaboration with the director of La Prestic Ouiston, Laurence Mahéo, who asked him for drawings to print in silk. In 2013, she published the book " Moyenne" published by Stock, in which some of her drawings appeared. In 2015, the restaurant "La Violette" of the Yvon Lambert Foundation based in Avignon asked her to make its visiting cards and its dishes.

Laurence Kiberlain exhibited his collection of drawings "Intime Journal" in 2009, at the salon du "Cinema du Panthéon".
