Born in 1964 in Saint Cloud, Elodie Lachaud is a photographer and she lives and works in Paris.
A graduate of Beaux-Arts in Paris in 1988, she continued her studies at the Chelsea Art School in London, where she studied photography. She really took advantage of the city, and with her Nikon she set “the instants of sound in her life”, filmed concerts, and made video-clips. She soon began to work for musicians, choreographs and music producers, through painting, photography and video. After the birth of her daughter in 2001, she has dedicated her career mainly to photography .
In 2001, she produced the Chromobiles series (with photographs and digital videos), on the interiors of New York taxis, and had an important exhibition of these works in Paris.
