Mara Dominioni was born in 1967 to Italian parents living in Switzerland. She started a career in the field of architecture in Zurich before devoting herself to sculpture, after studying at the Wackers Academy of Fine Arts in Amsterdam, then at the School of the New World of Art in Miami. Mara sculpts her emotions and her rebellions in the material. His expressive art, in a classic figurative style, gives life to works that are in turn intimate, sensual or powerful, which delight or challenge the viewer. Mara works with clay as well as plaster, bronze, alabaster and Carrara marble, where she spent 2 years.
