Biography
Michel Gagnol is a French painter born in 1973. By the end of the 80s, he made his first artistic steps with a combination of hip hop and graffiti with the EN1/NEC group. His creations on paper and cardboard were presented for the first time to the public at the end of 2000.
Michel Gagnol applies a technique of colors surrounded by black and started to build his own artistic universe based in comic strips and the urban culture. In 2016, his style became more sensual and mysterious, while still based on fatal women of the 50s and on the pop art movement.
His participation in the creation market of Bastille in 2005, open a door for him to start working with a gallery in Paris, where he exhibited his work for three years. From then on, he did several group and solo exhibitions in France and Belgium, and participated three times in the "Braderie de l'art" of Roubaix, as well as in numerous artistic fairs.....
