Tatiana Rozenblat

Born in 1961, it was during my training in Fine Arts that I discovered papermaking. Immediately seduced by the tactile and visual qualities of paper pulp, I began a first research in alternation games: Between plan and volume, transparency and opacity, between unity and repetition ... L he desire to be autonomous in the whole process of fiber extraction and its many possibilities will prompt me to continue my training at the Conservatory of ocher in Roussillon and at the Museu Moli de Paperer in Capellades (Spain); reference centers which perpetuate so-called traditional techniques. Since then I have been using the metamorphic capacities of paper pulps often in reference to nature and the visual phenomena it offers us when we observe it up close. Wood, earth, stone all these materials stimulate my imagination. I track the marks of time in an almost sensory relationship. In recent years, in addition to indoor exhibitions, I have wanted to confront paper with its history during an In situ intervention on art and nature trails. Member of the Chaîne de papier association and the IAPMA, I also participate in the Paper Arts Biennial and international meetings. Installed in Capestang (Hérault), I opened my "Papier & Co" workshop there, a demonstration and transmission space.
