Born in 1978 - France
Carole Duhayer lives and works in Paris. She was born in 1978 in France. She travelled across Europe and United States before studying Design and Interior Design in Ecole Nissim de Camondo, Paris.
She also studied painting at Ecole des Beaux Arts , Paris. The visit of Serge Poliakoff 's exhibit at the Museum of Modern Art triggered an esthetic passion... The second one after Grenade Alhambra and its mauresque architecture. It was the start of a creation and a few months after she shown her collection at the 'Galerie Couteron', rue Guenegaud in Paris 6e arrondissement.
Her diploma obtained in 2005 from Camondo School of Art and Design enhanced her experience with colors, forms and space. She mix these different techniques in a search for the subject and ornament and she get inspired from the new esthetic interpretation originated from Klee or Matisse.
Her activities also include design work: she have partnered on international interior projects with Philippe Starck, Tino Zervudachi, Gilles & Boissier… and design (for aeronautics, for Samsung)…
Her experimentation blends the scientific and art worlds in a systematic and artistic method. The plants, the growth, the cell inspire her to create ornamental art work. Forms and colors merge together in the search of movement and a dynamic drawing. The color is a basis to develop a poetry on a picture, a subtitle blend of baroque and minimalist.
