Born in 1968 - France
Arnaud Rabier "Nowart", born on December 29 1968 in Le Blanc-Mesnil, Seine-Saint -Denis, France, is a video artist coming from the graffiti and street scene.
He painted his first wall in 1985, made his first video in 1991 and exhibits his works regularly in galleries (Paris, New York, St Petersburg, Singapore, Brussels, etc.), but also in institutions. In 2014 he took part in the show "From impressionism to street art" at the Orangerie in Auvers-sur-Oise and in September 2014 he was invited to exhibit in a show at the Espace Dali in Montmartre (Paris).
Humanity is at the heart of his work, whose guidelines are the values of the Hip Hop movement: peace, love, unity.
Today, his installations and interventions are the sum of his artistic research (painting, sculpture, video, 2D and 3D computer graphics , writing, sound) and his life experiences.
Nowart is engaged in social-cultural and charity projects in developing countries. His projects are fully financed by the sale of his works.
Today he is part of a huge project that wants to make of Ouakam (a town twinned with Clichy in the suburbs of Dakar) an open air gallery, and a laboratory for a "better life".
Nowart lives and works today between Clichy (France) and Senegal.
