Born in 1959 - France
Jules Bodolec was born in Saint-Nazaire in 1959. He lives and works in Paris. His father was a sailor and he shared his passion for traveling. At the age of 20, he moved to Tokyo where he lived for 2 years, and the following years he traveled between New York, Paris, Tunisia and Brittany (France).
He was interested in drawing and painting since he was a child. He has met artists such as Louise Bourgeois, Issey Miyaké and art critic James Lord. At the age of 30 he moved to Paris and dedicated himself to painting. His sources of inspiration are eclectic, but he is always inspired by the people he meets and his experiences.
