Marc Cerrone (born 1952, Vitry-sur-Seine, near Paris, France) is a French disco drummer, composer, record producer and creator of major concert shows. Cerrone is considered as one of the most influential disco producers of the 70s and 80s in Europe. Cerrone is a multi talent artist with an uncommon destiny.
Producer, composer, creator of big staged shows, he sold 30 million albums around the world, and won 5 US Awards and a Golden Globe for "Best Producer of the year".
He was made Knight of the Arts and Culture by French Minister of Culture Renaud Donnedieu de Vabres in 2006.
The industry recognizes him as one of the most influent musicians of the 70's. He is one of the French artists who strongly contributed to the popularization of the "French Touch" worldwide, especially in the USA.
