"My interest in art goes back to my childhood, when I was reading the Spirou magazine: I was dreaming of becoming a famous cartoonist. I discovered painting and developed during my adolescence a keen interest in the work of Paul Klee, and that time completely changed my my projects: I decided to become a famous painter. Then it was the tremendous shock of the Jazz as an adult: I vibrate to the sound of Coltrane, Shepp, Dolphy and so many other musicians of the free jazz movement. However, I did not wish to become a famous saxophonist: you cannot do everything, and then with the drawing and especially painting, I found my favorite means of expression. Therefore I am trying through the practice of improvisation to express emotions according to a rhythm, patterns, an alphabet that has much to do with music; Today I produce large format works live, with English, American or French musicians, during events in galleries (Dufay-Bonnet, Paris), on the concert stage (Black Dog Café, Minneapolis) or during performance in festivals (Edinburgh)..."
