OX

OX is an urban artist who has started working with the collective of the Frères Ripoulin. This group of "media-painters", animated by 7 artists, was famous in the 1980s, especially because it often organized live and street performances. When the group broke up a few years later, OX started traveling and working in his studio to develop his own techniques.

Between New York and Paris, the young artist discovers new techniques that enable him to define his own aesthetics. It is in 1993 that OX presented its first urban creation: a collage on a wall covered with posters. OX is known not only for his collages that are both monumental and minimalist, but also for the exhibition places that he chooses.

OX displays his works on street billboards that give a completely different meaning to the urban landscape.
