Philippe Pétremant is a French visual artist born in 1976. He lives and works in Lyon.
Philippe Pétremant studied at the School of Fine Arts of Saint-Etienne. A year after graduating, he exposed his work for the first time at the Réverbère gallery for the Paris Photo Fair, then he started exposing internationally and exhibited in Amsterdam, at the Jeune Creation Salon and at many others. He participated in three editions of the Paris Photo Fair.
He made a solo exhibition, in 2010 at the Réverbère Gallery where he exhibited his three series: That's all Folks! - The Magnificent Seven - Null Countries. Public institutions of his region got interested in his work and they have exhibited and bought his works, particularly his series "Vacuité(s)".
