Born in 1966 - France
Valerie Honnart was born in Paris in November 1966. A graduate of the Science Po Paris and of a Master?s in Communication at the ESCP, she has also taken a course in ancient painting, engraving and restoration in Rome. Today she lives and works in China.
It is these two destinations, Italy and China, that allow us to understand the work of Valerie Honnart. In China, she learns the fascination for landscapes, for martial arts, for breathing techniques, for the use of ink, and the importance of the long preparation of the elements that constitute the work of art. In Italy she is fascinated by the sensuality of the body in motion and by its lighting.
