Presentation

Based in Lyon France, the works of Big Ben, are playful, he creates shapes, scenes, characters, and they are witty, slices of life, moods, displayed with humour and finesse on the streets and walls of Lyon and all over France from Paris to Cannes. Big Ben's style is playful, with a modern contemporary twist. All his art combines diversions and other artistic tricks, for a result that immediately triggers a smile and good humour. His influences include Blek le Rat and Banksy.

Since 2012, Big Ben Street Art has had numerous cutting edge collaborations with emerging artists such as JM Robert, Don Mateo de la Vega, painter Nicolas Cluzel and sculptors Laurent Martinez, and with the choreographer Denis Plassart for the French Art show "Derrière la tête" (In the Back of the Head). In 2013 Big Ben was selected for the Contemporary Art Biennial of Lyon, where he made a collage on the ground consisting of hundred Chinese soldiers in reference to Zhang Ding's work.

In 2014, he has been involved in charitable projects (the "Venus" project, King‘s Queer Art Collection) as well as several group exhibitions in Nice, Lyon, and Strasbourg. He also exhibited work at the SBK gallery in Lyon with the artist JM Robert.
