Arrache-toi un oeil! is a duo consisting of Emy Rojas and Gaspard Le Quiniou specialized in screen printing, graphic design and illustration. They both live and work in Paris.
They studied at art schools, they both are fond of music and gigs. (Gaspard started to organize gigs under this name in june 2002). In Spring 2005 they both discovered screen printing with some friends, in a small garage in Bondy (suburb of Paris). Then followed a couples of years of practice, improvement, mistakes and experimentations. They specialized in this technique and since then they’ve created hundreds of gig posters for several bands, made some artwork for disc covers, design for t-shirts and published artist books.
Over the years, they started to be invited to show their works in many cities in France, and in Europe (Berlin, Roma, Brussels, Tilburg, Hamburg, Geneva…). Since 2012, they have started to work on 3D installations with screenprinted papers for festivals and art exhibitions. Amonst them : “Color Blind” (jan 2013 – Mains d’Œuvres / Saint Ouen), “Levitation” (sept 2014 – Musée des maisons comtoises / Nancray).
