Presentation

Hedva Ser is a contemporary artist who is famous for her sculptures, aquarelles, tapestries and jewelry. Her work experiments with balance, imbalance and above all energy.

Her studies at the Académie de la Grande Chaumière and the Ecole Camondo in Paris, provided her with solid foundations that were later perfected at the Hornsey College of Art in London. While exhibiting her work all over the world, Hevda Ser decided to put her art in the service of peace. Invited by Ivonne A-Baki, UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador, to exhibit her work at Harvard University, Hedva Ser created the Tree of Peace, which became an emblem in defense of that cause.

Her Tree of Life sculptures are exhibited at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, at the A.T. Still University in Mesa, Arizona and, from 2012, at the Temple University in Philadelphia.

Hedva Ser is founder and Vice-President of the World Center of Women Artists in Amman, Jordan. She is also the founder and honorary President of the French Association of Friends of the Museum of Art of Tel Aviv and a founding member of the French Association of Friends of the Museum of Women in Art in Washington.
