Born in 1979 - France
Born in Angoulême in 1979, Indo studied business at the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce, confirming his appetite for risk and the desire to constantly make changes in his life; during his studies he also discovered his passion for traveling. He lived three years in Quebec before returning to France where he gradually switched careers, becoming an artist.
Fascinated by the history of France, its old buildings and historical monuments, he had long wanted to become a stonemason and to learn how to paint stained glass. It was during a trip to New York, visiting a porcelain design exhibition, that he had the revelation: Indo decided to work with Limoges porcelain, iconic for French crafts.
Porcelain pieces that are normally discaded because of manufacturing flaws become Indo's material. His sculptures made on steel structures, of broked pieces, are delicate and poetic. Once illuminated, the porcelain reveals its magnetic effects.
