Férial was born in Alger, Algeria in 1965. She moved to in 1980 and studied at Les Arts Décoratifs in Nice and at the Ecole d'Art Beaubourg in Paris.
Férial graduated as valedictorian of the Ecole d'Art Beaubourg with a thesis about Serge Gainsbourg; she discovered graphic design and visual communication. For 12 years she produced records covers and film posters in a big communication agency. Her insatiable curiosity and her almost mystical fervor feed her artistic research and her rich and varied body of work.
