Born in 1949 - France
Christian Faucouit is a French artist. When he was a student the Beaux-Arts in Saint-Etienne, he used to support himself by drawing and selling his art in the street. In 1973 he graduated from University and in 1977 he began to teach art classes.
Christian Faucouit has undertaken, since 1987, a work entitled "Connections".
"It is an experiment consisting of physically connecting all his paintings to mentally connect their owners and create a network that extends to the scale of the whole planet. Thus the thought of each one will be carried towards the others and the undone links between paintings will be wovn between people."
