Born in 1970 - France
Christophe Mirallès is a Franco-Spanish artist born in France in 1970. Having work for a while in the world of communication and illustration, he chose to devote himself exclusively to painting after he moved to Annecy. The artist currently lives and works between Burgundy and Casablanca.
His repertoire is mostly abstract, but during the last five years Christophe creates symbolic works. Human figures suspended in a void are all over his paintings, they reflect a feeling of pain and nostalgia. The combination of simple forms and subtle shades of colors give his paintings a timeless appearance where the material remains the main issue.
