Born in Paris, costume designer, graduated from EHESS in anthropology, Catherine T. Dunoyer has been dedicated since 20 years to her activity of plastic painter.
With her anthropology and Beaux-Arts diplomas she starts her career as a theater costume designer while developing singular plastic works that marvellously illustrate her free artistic approach.
Catherine T. Dunoyer builds strange objects, flat totems, shamanist seats, sculptures with tree barks dressed with fiber, straw, silk, griot assemblies... a initiatory journey, crumbs of patched souvenirs, mosaic of fantasies hanging on an unconscious grid... African fragments...
