Born in 1972 - France
Stefan Hoareau, photographer-reporter was born in 1972 in Marseille. He lives and works in Paris.
After a short period of self-study research, he became assistant photographer for renowned photographers such as Petroy Haner, a fashion photographer or Michael Roulier, a culinary photographer from 1995 till 2002. His experiences led him to evolve in a different and varied universe. His curiosity pushed him in not linking his work with a specific field, even through he preferred the culinary sector, which he highlighted through his art.
Stefane Hoareau is one of those people who never stops exploring his technique with passion, rigor and openness. Stefan isn't attracted by complex framing but by a deep and essential quest.
In his work he addresses texture, material, the body, face, and the other person. Stefan Hoareau doesn't address these themes like an end in itself but the body becomes the material, a study of movement.
Finally, our extremely creative photographer, blended and completed his work through video, writing and music as well.
Stefan Horeau participated in several fairs and exhibited in private and public areas in France like the Cultural Center in Marseille, but abroad as well. His work has already been published.
