Born in 1984 - France
Clément Rousseau was born in Le Havre in 1984. A self-educated photographer, it was in 2012, during a of 14-month journey around the world, that he felt the need to share his vision of a complex and poetic world, with a thousand faces.
Fascinated by the universe that surrounds him, Clement Rousseau does not set himself any limit and photographs everything he likes. He approaches any subject matter, from portrait to landscape, architecture or long exposure.
For him, each place, each scene is unique and deserves to be observed with great attention. His last work takes us to in his hometown of Le Havre. Completely destroyed during World War Two then rebuilt by Auguste Perret, today the city is part of the UNESCO world heritage. Clément Rousseau tries to show the beauty of this little known town. He produces clean and graphic images, where the curves and lines of the urban and harbor architecture intermingle.
