Born in 1969 in Poitiers, Xavier Déshoulières lives and works in Paris.

After obtaining the DNSEP in 1995 at the Decorative Arts of Strasbourg, Xavier Déshoulières settled during three years in Cologne in the old Donald Judd workshop facing the Rhine. In 2001, he met Virgil Voldère, and began a long collaboration with the gallery, multiplying performances, solo exhibitions and international fairs in London, Paris, Miami, Mexico City and New York.

In 2004 he worked and exhibited in Beirut creating many paintings about "architectural scars" of the martyred city. He continued this work with some American cities, where the urban planning presented contrasts and paradoxes in their evolution. From 2008, he began painting impenetrable plant architectures on large formats and won with one of them, the Marin Awards 2010.
