Marius Bessone was born in 1929. Between 1949 and 1954, he studied at the same time the industrial design for architecture and ceramic decoration.
He will open his own workshop, where from this time he will start testing different techniques as crystallization, brown toned reliefs, and volcanic effects with a slightly colored grid pattern. He will nearly participate to all of the Biennales of Vallauris as well as to prestigious expositions throughout France and Europe.
In 1954 he opens a workshop in Vallauris with his wife Huguette.
