Born in 1972 - France

Guyla is a French artist born in 1972.

Guyla studied visual arts and graphic arts. At the end of her studies, rather than beginning her career right away, she decided to travel around the world in order to find sources of inspiration.

A real artist of the contemporary generation of Paris, Guyla makes portraits and life scenes that always seem invaded with a certain melancholy. All her artistic practice is based on the fundamental question of color; she does not settle for a classical look, in the background or in the shape, Guyla always offers the viewer her own conception of her personal world.

Guyla's work belongs undeniable to the movement of contemporary figurative painting.
