Laure Simoneau is a thread artist and works with the steel wire with which she seeks to reach the point of balance between the harmony of lines and the accuracy of expression. She hammers metal, curves, refines it, soda it, sometimes caresses it with gold leaf, until it becomes what her imagination glimpsed: a face, a body, a feeling, an emotion ... His creations are presented with as many facets as the light offers angles to observe them. When she was younger, she dreamed of being a clown, a physicist or a mechanic ... She took side roads, navigated between the humanities and the fine arts and after a few years spent being the receptacle of the stories and the pains of others ... Today, she expresses her own emotions.
