Born in 1964, Jean Paul Morrel Armstrong is an American artist.

Thanks to his parents, Jean Paul Morrel Amstrong traveled a lot throughout Europe and discovered the artistic scene at a young age. He became a model at first, which allowed him to discover the world and to meet famous photographers. Later on, he started his own artistic researches.

He used several forms of artistic expression such as music, painting, writing and photography to create his works. The subjects he likes to address are those associated with travelling and art, as well as the presence of the powerful and absent maternal figure.

After a trip he made to Peru, he discovered himself as a man belonging to a community and felt the ties that connect man with nature. In his last series, Jean Paul Morrel Amstrong shows the universal scope that can be given to people and spaces.
