Jean-Christophe Attard is a French reporter-photographer, born in Ajaccio in 1974. Graduated from a degree in letters he starts to do photography in 1997. His photographs and reports realized in Corsica and aboard have already been published in national and international magazines. After been the chief editor of the magazine Terra Corse until 2004, he created the photography magazine IMAGES FIXES in 2005. Today he directs the collection “Les carrés photographiques” of the DCL edition.

Jean-Christophe Attard took a special interest in the 3 islands that are Corsica, Japan, and Iceland. Beyond the cultural differences, the photograph tries to reveal the common identity of the islands’ populations.

His artworks were exhibited at the French Cultural Institute in Tokyo in 2006, and were also part of the entitled "Paysages et culture Mongols" exhibition at the Guimet Museum in 2002.
