Born in 1957 - France
Gabor Breznay is an artist of Hungarian origins who lives and works in Paris in his studio in the eleventh district. He studied at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris.
As a painter and draftsman, his works were first of an expressionist nature during the 70s before evolving towards an approach resembling pop art and narrative figuration from the 80s.
In recent years he has specialized in drawing in ink, in a reflection of time and space, the present and the eternal opposing the constant mutation imposed by the present world. In his creative process he devotes a lot of time to observing people, memorizing everything from gestures to looks, from attitudes to movements and depicting them on his drawings.
His work has been exhibited in group and personal exhibitions in France, Germany, Hungary and the United States. His works are present in numerous private collections as well as in the public collections of the city of Pontoise. One of his series was rewarded at the LIBR'ART International Fair in Belgium. She was also selected and his work exhibited in the Art Capital (drawing and water painting exhibition).
