Fico

Fico is a French photographer born in 1974. At the age of 12, Fico discovered her vocation for photography. Being a persistent person, she worked for a newspaper of her region and for other local newpapers when she was only 16. Once she turned 18, she changed her books for a bohemian life and artists' tours such as Simple Mind, Texas and The Silencers for Sony Music and BGM France before starting a career in the world of fashion.

During her career, she has worked with leading modeling agencies such as Karine, Metropolitan and Elite. When she was 30, she gained a lot of experience working in a fashion studio and in the backstage of the fashion shows of high fashion designers. But she got lost in the Mongolian-Manchurian grassland, she followed the first crossing of the Queen Mary II and made a report about the underworlds of Bangkok. Her subjects have been published in numerous magazines.

Fico is an unclassifiable photographer, who explores with talent numerous photographic fields: advertising, press, studio photography and strives to give a special approach and graphic power to her reports. Having special technical skill in photography, colors and black and white, she prefers to favor emotions. Her images capture the life between the shadows and the light, and she perfectly erases the traces. With an optimistic and sensual approach, she transposes everything related with the human being into thrilling images.
