Dominique Landucci

In the great concert of the world of contemporary artists, Landucci exists with strength and conviction: in fact, in twenty -five years of practice, he has built an independent universe, outside schools, fashions… For him, painting is a necessity , a breath. In my eyes, he is a dreamer. His painting moves, oscillates according to the places and the friendships that he meets during his wanderings. Musician, he also carries his violin, his accordion, like a real baladin, far from the traditional places of the diffusion of art (theaters, museums, galleries…). That he settles in a village market place, in front of a concrete wall, and in a few hours he transforms these places into magical spaces. I also appreciate his direct contact with the public which makes his artistic practice more human. With him, art is happy, because it speaks to the hearts of people. Frédéric Altmann
