Psyko

Psyko was born in 1959 in Montreuil. After studying plastic arts at the School of Fine Arts of Orleans, the artist started practicing engraving and gilding in marble. In 1986, he joined a professional group of videographers and he worked with image and light for several years.

A professional painter since 2007, he paints exclusively old vehicles, cars and motorcycles.These objects allow him to study the line and the color in order to highlight the different materials.This passion has brought him to different American vehicles expositions, where he takes his own photographs.This preliminary work enables him to work on the framing and the composition of the future piece.

For large formats, he works with oil paint and china ink on a linen canvas while for smaller formats, he works on paper with China ink and watercolors. He makes as well, by order, portraits of cars or motorcycles base on the pictures sent by their owners.

Since 2012, Psyko joined the international association Artis'auto which brings together automotive artist and with which he has participated at the Retromobile salon in Paris.
